No chemicals, just water was used in the decaffeination of this coffee leaving behind an unbelievably tasty cup of coffee. At a medium/dark roast level this Decaf Coffee is great as drip or espresso. As a pour over coffee you will find it to be a balanced and easy drinking cup with lovely black grape sweetness and light cocoa notes. The body is quite viscous and oily for a decaffeinated coffee!
